The st1 is as good as everyone says. Not much you need to do with it. The stock servos and radio are good for bashing but if you plan to race change them. I would also recommend the rear wing mount and wing. The stock engine is great but not the most powerful at first. It takes a looooong time for it to loosen up adn with the ttr aftermarket pipe it screams. If you think the revo handles good wait till you drive a truggy. They are a blast and can really fly.

Not much you have to mod. It only weighs 8.5 lbs. I installed a new LRP spec3 and its sick fast. Everything on it is rock solid. The only thing you should do right off the bat is change out the diff and shock oils. Get a 6v flat pack also.

Other than shock and diff oil get rid of the pull start and get a roto start or a starter box. my pullstart broke twice in 2 weeks. I havent really raced my ST-1 yet and I don't say anything about trucks I haven't really ran that much so I am not sure how good it is, but so far I'm happy with it.

I would go over every screw and nut on the ST1. I had a couple of loose ones. No big deal.
I got mine not long ago, I have around 3 tanks thru. I think Im done with break in, the engine starts nicely and everytime. Atm Im using blue thunder fuel 20%, I might change to 30% if I can find an LHS thats cheaper than the one near me.
