Best Truggy for $400 or below???
I LOVE Cen stuff but I can't afford the Matrix TR Arena (already have the Matrix buggy) right now. Which Truggy is the best value at $400 or below? Thanks

You got the Thunder tiger ST-1, GS XUT, Redcat Monsoon, HB Lightning. I think that is pretty much it. I cannot tell you which one is best because I have driven all of them. I did have a Monsoon and it is a great truggy for the price. Also everyone here loves the thunder tiger. If it was me I would get the XUT only because I like to be different then everyone else. Monsoon a close second, and thunder tiger 3rd with the lightning 4th only because it is a very old design and do not care for the looks too much like the thunder tiger. JMO.

-1 LOL! just kidding. Just go with what you think appeals to you the most. You will be happy with any of those you buy.

+2 I will make up for vnmsgt mistake!! at that price and the reputation that the TT ST1 holds you cannot go wrong. not that any of the others are wrong but having 2 ST1s in the garage and seeing the beating they take.... it gets my vote..... and between you and me I think vnmsgt secretly likes it too.

For the price, the TTR ST-1 is the way to go from what I've heard. Of course, for over your price range, you can get better but the Thunder Tiger is the best bang for your buck at this point.

I just picked up a 8T race roller for $429 new, so if you look they are pretty close to your limit. I picked up the RTR for $489, which is the best deal on the web. Again, not under you $400 limit, but close enough to be tempting.

dude you were doing sooo good by asking questions.... why not ask about the Hellfire???? I am not trying to rain on your parade but, I wanted that thing at first too until I heard all the diff problems they are having with them and not a word out of HPI on any permanent fixes being made to them. Good luck with your purchase and I hope your LHS will stand behind the product they sold you.
