Hellfire pinion gear 10t how long it last?
Just want to check if i have problems with my driving or the 10T pinion gear typically does not last at all? I have limited budget and do not want to upgrade to the HB spiral cut yet. Thanks.

I got 10 minutes each out of 3 new HF pinions untils i realised the diff case was warped where the bearings sit (very dumb of me). After i got the new diff case and shimed correctly the pinion has lasted alot longer, but still wears too quick for me.

they should last many gallons as long as you check the bearings around them regularly, and also mesh on crwen gear. the more tie you spend wrenching the less the hobby costs.

The best way to "fix" this problem is to get the HB ring and pinion gears..You have to get both sets, I and I think most other HF drivers have had this problem. The only fix I know of is to go with the hardened HB gears.
