Default force .28 running backwords

yes that is right my force .28 is running the wrong way.

here is what happend i took the whole car apart to be shipped from germany back to the states. the engine was in my carry on and the truck was in a somewhat heavy duty box. i just got it back to gether tonight and when i went to try and start it i would go in reverse not forword like it did when i took it apart. i did not take the engine apart or nothing, i took the engine off the car and put it in bubble rap to protected it. i am stumped any help would be greatful.

did something happen on the way over?

I had a weed wacker motor do this once but I shut it off and restarted and it went back
to the right way.

Are you using a starter box for it turning it the wrong way ?
Rotorary (drill start) backwards ?

Very strange.

Sometimes when ur starting the motor....the downstroke of the piston comes at the Purfectly WRong time and thats basically what starts the motor in reverse.....99% of the time fire it again and it should fire the right way...WIth a roto backplate u Cannot turn the shaft the wrong way...Its a 1 way...only goes 1 way....follow me ?....ive seen it happen quite a few times.

well nobody has mention it, but do you already checked the diffs?? because is you install them backwards the truck will run in reverse even if the motor is running in the right direction.

It wouldn't cause any long term problems. The diffs are running just like normally, they're just running in reverse. Lol.
