Vspec is a great engine. Most .21 engines like the Go engines, jammin .21, os v spec speed tuned, and the new GRp engines are supposed to be awsome. There are so many choices in a .21 size. It just depends on how much you want to spend. I would say the Go tech are great for teh money. If you can find a Ninja for a decent price thats an engine that would be hard to beat.

the rossi .28s are torquey and ok top end...vspec is great there is no best motor though...pick one that fits budget and your style of driving...i'd just get anoter spec and put on it

Yea definatly replace the rod ($55) instead of buying another engine ($200+) unless you want a .21 instead. I seen this engine in vids online in truggies and monster trucks, I can say its very fast and id say too much power for racing. I didnt think a race .28 would be all that bad in a truggy but I was dead wrong. You definatly have to have good throttle control for an engine like that Nova.

Yup, wouldn be right to let a $375 engine sit and go to waste.
