new starter box question

ok i recently (a couple days again) i bought a new http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/12542 and i was tryin to position my losi 8ight-t on it and it worked good so i took out the batteries and turned it off. so i wake up the next morning to try to start car i put in batteries turn it on and push down nothing happened so i tryed a differnet battery same thing what happened. the motor wont spin nothing happens when i push down.

What batteries are you using.
Check these lil tabs and see if they've melted into the plastic, it happened to me, use an Exacto Knife or a blade and scrape the plastic off those lil tabs.


If your using a 12V, check the connections to the batteries, they broke the first day I was using.
And if you can, screw all those lil' tabs, solder all the connections, it'll work GREAT.!

If possible, solder ALL of them. They're prone to go wrong.

Yupp, 14.4V bats are what melted mine.
Just check the connections to the plate closely. Most likely its melted into the plastic housing due to the heat.

it doesnt look like it i took off the screws to the wire in the first pic and it came off the plate cleanly and i checked the other connections too

Are the batteries fully charged, do you have access to a 12V that you could possibly try.?
Can you move the starter wheel with your hand, or has it locked up.?

my 7.2 are getting old and show signs of wear so they could be just old and yes i fully charged them before trying it and i can move the wheel easliy with finger. i making some 12v connectors tonight so ill try that
