it to keep your bearings from rusting in the motor . put a few drops in the air intake and a few in the glow plug hole, then cycle the motor

It also protects from rust and lube's the piston and sleeve. Put a couple drops in where the glow plug goes and a couple in the carb and pull your pull start or crank it over a couple times to get it evenl spread in there.

I use WD-40, it works just the same as hobby grade after-run oil. The first thing I do is run all of the gas out of the engine. Burn it all off, make sure the gas tank is empty and try to start it. It most likely will start up then die in about 5 seconds. After you do that you want to put it in the carb and if you can put it in where the glow plug is. After you apply it you want to turn it over. Remember no heat on the glow plug because we are just turing it over; not starting. After that shut the radio off and put the toy away for the day.

I use Byron fuel and confirmed this is completely true. Byron leaves an oil residue after i burn off my fuel and after run oil is not necessary.

Only time I use after run oil is if the truggy/buggy is going to be sitting more than 3 days without being ran. Crafsman air tool oil is the same stuff as after run oil, twice as much for half the cost.
