I have to agree, JR servos are top notch, 3 year warranty. 9100S for throttle and the 9100T steering. Ive been running JR servos for years now without issues.

+2.!

Just remember, S ( Speed ) is for Throttle, and T ( Torque ) is for Steering.

When I first got them, I did them the other way around, I thought S was for Steering and T was for Throttle.

They work extremely well...

The speed and torque anrt even close to JR. (7 bucks for the "High Torque" servo, laughable compared to the 370 torque from the JR servo for 20 bucks more. Then theres the 3 year warranty for the JR servos.
JR cant be beatn.

I wouldn't say its better just because it has more torque.

Ace have lifetime warranties.

If you have never used an ace servo then you really can't make a fair comparison.

Its funny cause marketing fools so many people,

Here is a good example,

Buy a telescope from wal-mart, it says it can zoom up to 350x times!!!

It must better then this other scope that only zooms up to 190x times.

But its not because yes you can zoom up to 350x but its not useful, your image will be blurry and won't resolve to any viewable image.

Now a real telescope company advertises the useful magnification, which is based on apeture, and focal length.

So the same can be said for other manufacturers ya JR is advertising 370oz but is it useful? or is it even atainable? is that the dynamic torque or just holding torque?

I have the JR 9100T on my steering and it works awesome. I might try the ACE on my throttle/brake since it is cheaper.

Ace servos are supposed to have a 1 year warranty on them vs 3 for JR. Lifetime? Check out a mains forum, Kendall explains alot with the ace servos. Im not saying they are junk, just not as good as JR.

Who has the lifetime? hi-tec? or is it futaba?

None that I aware of, JR is 3 years. Life time would be sweet though.

Guys,

The JR, ACE, Hitec, and Futaba servo are all good. It's a matter of preference and comfort. Go with what you like. I have had excellent service and history with JR hence why I am sticking with them. Hitec suprisingly didn't take care of me even though I have heard they have had a good reputation. But again. It's all preference.
