i hope he doesn't think anyone is gonna give him an honest price, Truggies and all other RC's lose 25% as SOON as they're taken out of the box, then when they're run, cut the price another 25%.

Good luck on the $900..It does depend on the up grades also..But here goes..
ST-RR..$350 (IN GREAT CONDITION)
OS ZX-.28 $150 (IN GREAT CONDITION)
Ofna JP-3 $35 (IN GREAT CONDITION)
Honestly I would pay in the $550 range..Not trying to low ball or anything but if you want $900..Radio system would be needed..Minimum..300 oz steering servo, 200 oz throttle servo, Radio..M-11, 3PK..DX3R or equivalent..I have bought ST-RR's for less than $550 with motor and pipe..novarossi and a JP-4.

I love the people who think they're gonna get all this money out of their used RC equipment. The only trucks I've seen even coming close to $900 are the Losi 8ight T with GRP engines and a grip load of upgrades. And I hate to break it to ya but your ST is no Losi 8ight T!

In all honesty If I had raced the truck a couple of dozen times and had one or two gallons through the motor I would let it go for 550.00

all upgrades except long chassis conversion. If you want to see what it is that I'm talking about look up my ad I don't want to spell it out in the forum. It's well worth the asking price.

I looked it up..Nice set up..To the right person it would be a great deal. The ST-RR chassis are cheap on ebay also..Just so you know..the Blue springs are the hot ticket on every track i have ever ran on. It is worth $900..In my opinion it's worth a whole lot more but it's to bad our hobby has such a drop off in value. If I didn't already have 2 I would be thinking real seriously about this one..
..i still am..lol

what is the benefits of the long st-rr chassis? The owner of my LHS advised me not to change the chassis because of the turn radius. Where in the range of stiffness does the blue springs fall compared to the green?

I guess a lot of it depends on your track, But I have yet to race at a track where the shorter chassis was better. Obviously your LHS owner has not driven an ST-RR..Nothing will turn under the ST-RR..at least not that I've seen. The only drawback to the longer chassis is rear traction..most of the tracks that i race on have good traction so I have never had any problems..with the long chassis the Kyosho goes from a good truggy to a GREAT Truggy..The Blue springs are stiffer, they seem to hold up better to big jumps and you dont have to run as much preload to get the ride height you want..

Ebay, look under strr kyosho. Rollers fetch between 250-300 and one that set to race might get you 400-500. Ive seen a few on ebay were the seller has it loaded, 3pk -OS 28 - 3 sets of tires - servos and parts wanting 1200 to 1400 dollars, and yes, used. They never get that for them.
Plus, dont be fooled, a earlier post mentioned a 8t fetching more than a strr, not true. If both were set up with the same grp engine and same amount of parts, the strr will get you more. Kinda like at the track, strr beating the 8t[:'(]
