I am not dissing the Jammin 28 as I haven't run it. I can tell you that I'd get the OS28 in a heartbeat. I've got it and the power is everywhere and runtimes are outstanding. I ran a 15 min main 2 weeks ago and only had to pit once. The knock on 28's is crappy runtimes for racing and sometimes it's accurate (Nova 528, craploads of power, better pit every 5 minutes!) but this is a race engine thru and thru.

A good motor is the LRP .28 the series 3 one..I have had good luck with the XTM 457..buddy of mine won the Roar sportsman nationals with one..only problem is you get 7 minutes on fuel..thats it..Then the OS is good, The Go .28 looks fast also..

15minute runs? wow thats unheard of. OS has a lot variety in their engines models, are you talking about OS vspec or xz or vg or speed or ... ?

I have both JPX 28 as well as OS 28.......... I Like the OS alot, but I like the JPX better...... the JPX has a better powerband with more even power from idle to top end..........modded vs modded the JPX to me feels much better then the OS 28 does...

Its fun to hear how motors will murder another motor,

The guy who won this main was using a GO 25, and kicked butt with it. He was up against Modded Novas RBs Sirios and piccos,

His slow go had a higher Avg MPH then other modded engines, So don't fall for all the this motor has 1 micron more HP it must be better.

I listed some of the motors i know they where running that day.

1/8 Truck (Truggie) - A Main
Pos Car Laps time name id avg.mph
1 2 35 15:04.44 Ryan Leluger 12 14.27 < GO 25
2 3 35 15:12.28 Randy Lee 2 14.15 < Moded Nova
3 1 34 15:16.19 Chris Shadron 19 13.69
4 4 34 15:20.82 Mike O'Steen 3 13.62 <- Moded C6
5 6 31 15:09.46 Jason Russo 15 12.57
6 8 26 14:33.96 Ian Star 13 10.97
7 7 26 15:11.47 luke edwards 20 10.52
