~Offical Team associated RC8T truggy thread~
Hello lads and it's finally here.
Over the pond we have it! after the release of the buggy the long awaited truggy version has been released, and is worth every penny!
Take a look :
http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/cml...tId=0000003348
http://www.maxbashing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123768
Shouldn't be long till you'll have it
Will update with how it is running and preformance. But so far build quality is great, and all parts are worth every penny.
Discuss here.[8D]
Peace

Took a look at one down at the local shop. Looks very nice. I may go Associated for my next round of vehicles. I've been hearing more and more good things about them locally anyway.

I haven't seen one yet in person yet ([:@]), but I am very interested in this even though it's pretty expensive I may be able to get it. The only two things that would be stopping me from a complete sell out is 1: Is the truggy class losing popularity to the CORR class. 2: When is HB going to release the D8T.

RE: ~Offical Team associated RC8T truggy thread~
We had a meeting at Slough on the weekend and I started in 1st with my Hyper ST in the B final with Dan from Maxbashing driving one of these out the box starting in second. Looked really good, well planted, even without loads of setup time, etc. Needless to say, I screwed up on the last few laps trying to pass back markers and lost my 3/4 lap lead to lose by a 1/4 lap from Dan. But his times were consistent and it did look quick.
I'm really tempted as the Hyper ST is a little on the lardy side, hehe.

ORIGINAL: CrysisFX
the rc8t uses 2.2in tires. so you would need a little smaller tires

LPR's will fit with the correct size and offset wheel aswell (I'm not sure what the RC8T comes with)

Wow that is awesome looking... It looks to handle as well as in the other, earlier vids of it by those pro drivers...
It looks really narrow though - as in little offset.. Is that right??.. Would partially explain the lazer-like, pinpoint steering I guess..

Yeah, it certainly seems pinpoint, every little input into the steering has an effect, very impressive

Here's a better one..plus this video should help some of you guys from Europe understand why the results from maxbashing dont always "work" here in the states..way different type of tracks..
