crt.5 which engine out of 2 , what servos
hi gonna be doing a bit on my crt.5 , to get it up together etc ... which engine would you choose out of a rb.v12 or the novarossi .12 l5 ... and why .... will be fitted to the jp5 annodised pipe .....
and which servos .. i have 2 futaba 3305 servos , a hitec 5645 mg ... or ive been offered a ace 1013 ,, servo ... which ones and where ....
what do you think of the cnc centre diff mount ...cheers

you dont need to spend that much on a motor for the .5,you can get a sh12 turbo from rc-direct in the uk for £89.99.i have one in my st mini and it flies with the jp5.i also use futaba s3305 and they work great.really check out that engine you will be suprised.hope this helps.

cheers mate ... ive already got the rb ... but i gotta play with the head shims, as i was running it on 25% ... but ive just won a novarossi .12l5 on ebay ........cheers

i would put the nova in it.or if u do put the rb in i bet it would be a lot of fun on 25% nitro lol.

Is the stock Jammin engine lame or something? I just bought a new one with pipe as a backup for my Hyper Mini ST...

yes and no its not to bad for bashing but for racing its crap.im putting a mega zx.12 in mine and a jp-5 lol.

Can't be worse than the stock Hyper engine though.. - I would think... Not that the Hyper engine sucks or anything - little screamer.. Just wanted to have a different backup - and I got it for a good price - €50 inc pipe...
Here's mine with the stock engine.. Quite a screamer it seems to me...:

my original jammin motor was ok , but i felt it could have had more top end ... but then again its only a budget/kit motor ... but i felt the hyper motor seemed alot better ...

i thought the jammin had more bottom,the hyper more top.you see a much bigger leap with a racing .12 though,or a os18tz like i "had"

can u still run the orginal clutch and flywheel? i tryed but the nut wouldent tighten all the way down with the orginal collent
