RE: how to adjust idle
I dont think you problem is with tunning the high seed needle. Because Having you car running really lean ( less fuel) or really rich( lots of fuel) would not create you car to rev really high.
If you car does not move when you rev it and it just stays in the same spot like what happened to me. you probably broke a spur gear.
If you car does move and revs high you should check you clutch because you probably burnt it out.
If you can try and tell me more about what's happening i might be able to help you more.
but, Hope this helps!

RE: how to adjust idle
First check your idle gap. keep the gap no larger than 1mm when the carb is closed. If your gap is set right then your problem could be a lean LSN.
