It depends what your looking for and your budget. It is a good racing truck but you will need to buy engine, radio, etc. If you want a good cheap beginner truggy here is a Thunder tiger st-1. I have one and its great and very durable.

Here is another one but i dont have any personal experience with it.

If your looking for a racer and dont mind spending a few bills then the losi is great. Just drop in a picco or lrp or whatever and a 2.4ghz radio and youll be ready for the track.

$299 For a Race Roller is a really good price..by the time you add motor, pipe and radio system I'm sure you'll be over $600 but you will have a very capable Truggy, The biggest knock on the Losi as far as reliability is the throttle servo, But if you follow the instructions on how to set up your end points and do all the other stuff on their web site you'll never have any problems..
