Just wanting to get some ideas on how to setup my fuel system in my truggy, as in where to mount my fuel filters, where to put the lines, and so on. Figured this might help out others as well. So post up any pictures you have of your fuel system setup in your truggy!

I was leaking really bad (even after I sealed it with RTV)

My engine runs alot better with out, plus there's a filter in the tank.

@ JB COMP-
I will use some of that Teflon tape on the threads on my fuel filters that I got, hopefully that will keep them from leaking.

Just keep check the fuel line for bubbles.

Also the stone filters (well atleast mine does) restricts fuel flow. Have you ever tried to blow through one of those filter? There's not much air that comes out.

I had a small Duratrax filter on it before and it leaked fuel and caused bubbles in the line....

I don't like the stone filters because they are hard to get really clean and you are right, most stone type filters do restrict fuel flow IMO (Had an OFNA stone filter on my buggy, did the same thing). The filters I just got are HUGE screen type filters from the O'Donnell Z01B buggy.

Here are a couple pics of them to give you an idea of how big they are-

I agree with JB COMP. Fuel filters should be re-named TUNE CHASERS.
I no longer use them.

My fav. part of the X2, has these fuel line clips built into the fuel tank to hold the line and the filter. Keeps everything looking neater..!
