My hell everyone talks about everything except for the RC8T. My buddy and I bought a pair and everyone talks about every other car but them. Would a fellow RC8T owner please post?

No one discusses the RC8T because if the average human tried to actually comprehend the sheer awesomeness that is the RC8T, their head would explode...

I just got the kit about a month ago and just waiting on a few more parts before it's done. I put a Jammin .21 in it.

I guess you could look at it like this..If no one is talking about it at least its not breaking..but at the tracks where I race at we dont see very many of them..quite a few local guys bought the buggy when it first came out and had nothing but problems so they never gave the truggy a chance..I bought one of the first RC-8T's that my LHS got and I did like it and never had any problems with it..but a friend let me drive his ( other brand) and i was 2 seconds a lap faster, I guess it just fit the track or my driving style better so i sold the RC-8..

I haven't been talking about mine cuz I haven't had time to run much this year.. It's awesome though.. I also have the original RC8 FT buggy (albeit with Hong Nor Big Bores and an RT top-plate..)and it's great too.. Have run it way more than the truggy(only run the trug on race weekends - the bug for fun at the track..), and it holds up fine.. They had some issues early on with leaky tanks or whatever, but I've had zero issues.. I don't baby my stuff either.. (should admit though there just aren't many jumps on the tracks here.. - unfortunately.. Still, I would expect it to hold up..)

EDIT - Aha, I see this is an old thread.. If you ask me nobody's been talking much about truggies at all.. Much more discussion in MT forums it seems to me..

Well here is my RC8T. I'm just about finished.....still need to get a bump starter and a controller (I'm new to cars).

I'm running the Jammin .21 engine in it...can't wait to see how good it runs.

I'll be running on a clay track, but the phatlines are for driving around my house and just breaking in the motor.
