Default Servo choice for Caster K8T, yes, no?

I bought a Caster K8T from Chris at holeshot and made a choice of the Hitec HS-5645MG for steering and the JR z590 for the throttle/brake. I ordered the Spektrum DX3.0 for the radio system.

Just wondering if you guys thought these servos were a good choice and if they will fit the my caster k8t truggy rtr?

Thanks

If you want a BOMB proof steering servo that will last you multiple vehicle's to come....spend at least 100$ and you'll never have to think about it again...cheap servo's WILL fail...its only a matter of time....Hitec is my preference....anything of the 79XX series will do.

I think your two servos are decent. The 590's can fail.. To be honest, if you're racing, I'd have a backup on hand for it. Hitecs are reliable. I agree too - the 5955 or new 7-series replacements are the ultimate in dependability.. Keep an eye out for a 5955 for steering. Yes it's expensive, but as mentioned, you'll never have to think about servos again.

If you are just playing around then they can be ok. For racing go with what the other guys on here said, the 5955 or 7955 which is the replacement for the 5955. You will probably not need another servo for steering.

Well done. That 645 might be a tad slowish though.. Normally more of a steering servo I think.. Enjoy that 5955 though..
