Default Need new TOOLS which brand do u use?

Which mesurement does the team losi 8ight-t use Metric (mm) or SAE (inches) Also what is a good quality tool set? I have many kits and i know some are Metric and SAE. Just that they are missing and broken so i want to get a new quality set. I was thinking about Bonhus or maybe something else. I know i want ballhead. what do you guys recommend? i know i would like to have something i could use in a small power drill if possible. Many thanks as always.

fyi, SAE does not refer to wether it is imperial or metric. SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) is a standard to which all tools are built to.

I know most people hate Integy, but I have had a set of hex drivers from them for the past 3 1/2 years and they have been excellent. They are only $35 for a 7 piece set with metric and standard sized, they have nice aluminum handles, and TiNi coated shafts.

In my opinion they can not be beaten for the price, I highly recommend them. Here is a link to them on towerhobbies - http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKTP2&P=ML

Well I don't like any of their other parts, but their hex drivers are some of the best for the money. Nothing but good luck with mine. But I can't say the same for their other stuff.

X2 for the $$ integy's are fine...you dont need a 100$ driver set to get the job done......the Losi Driver's and RDLogisc's are also nice....the RDball wrench's are AMandatory if you do alot of wrenching.

integys bad rap is their own fault they use softer cheaper metals.but like i said u dont have ta spend alot.and if your screws are stainless they will be harder to strip, that said for the cash ofna has a great set.u want somethin sick just ta have it get snap on.u will be supporting america which is a good thing in this wack economy and its the last set ull ever buy.everything is for life, but then again so is craftsman,i guess ur payin 4 a name, but screw it ill pay 4 that name.

First of all Stainless screw's are weak as butter.....for hardware there's only 1 #you need to know....and its 12.9g Seel....there are a couple real good sources for kit's as well.....Tony's Screw's being One of them.......2nd....the Onfa Driver/Bit's set pt# OFN10823 is weak to say the least....the tips are not machined steel therefor they twist easy and can snap if your not careful.....But ofna pt# OFN93129 tips are fine as they are the proper machined tips........3rd....Snap On has Alot of Real Nice tools for specific purposes....and Hex driver's are Imo not their Forte....they are too long and take Way too much Twisting before they "SNAP" the bolt out....Ive seen it all too many time's in the pits where a Snap On T wrench fail's and they are running around needing a 2.5mm like a chiken with their head cut off.....for what its worth pending on what style of driver's you are looking for be it Metric or Standard the Dynamite's, Integy, RD Logics, EDS, Hudy,Mugen, will all do the same job.

Caster Racing has tools very similar to the Hudy ones but less expensive.

RC Pro just came out with tools.

Both are metric though.
