which 21 engine in a truggy???
Hi everyone
i currently have a rossi mamba engine in my truggy, i want to upgrade my engine to something faster. I know some people are saying that28 engine are rightchoice for a truggy but iv chosen to go with 21 engines as they have better run times.
so if itnot too much trouble, could youpleaserecommend mewhich 21 engine to get?im after an engine which has a high top-end speed & if it is stillpossible i would like itto havesome torque (bottom end grunt)
thank you

.28s aren't necessarily any "faster" than .21s. Because of the bigger piston, they have more torque/acceleration.
For something fast, I would recommend the RB C6. RBs in general rev to the roof and the C6 is designed specifically to have a better bottom end.
Without any other information, like what your budget is, then you're gonna get a million different answers and not really make any progress on making a decision.

The Jammin IS a Picco 21 turbo - and the cheapest version of it.. It's the same as a Picco 21 P7 Evo 2 I think...
Supposedly runs great with a JP-4 pipe..
I run the same engine under the name Nosram 21RR, with a Nosram 2063 pipe, and it rips... The Picco 21 turbos make big-time power - among the most powerful for the 21's.. The LRPZ21X was a monster on the dyno I heard.. - it's also a Picco 21 turbo.. They're all the same engines pretty much.. - just different colors...

Ah ok i didnt know that. I have learned so much over the last few days. Thanks guys! So whats up with thisNovarossi N21BF "Limited Edition" 3 Port Standard Plug Engine? I keep going back to that because if the Price. $149.99 cant be beat for a NR engine. I wonder if it would make a good club race engine with the right pipe?

That is not the engine that is identical to the Jammin JPX 21. The Picco Evo 2 or 3 P7R .21 is what you want...(more expensive though.. That's why the Jammin is such a good deal...)
And yeah, btw, Irun a Caster Grenade(which is a slightly modded Go 21 5-port..) engine too, which is cheap, and readily available in England. It is a nice engine, but it's a b.itch to break in - has a ton of pinch... And so far mine runs really hot... Idles well though, and seems to have nice pop.. Runs well with an 053 pipe..
