Default Question on the Jammin .5 CRT pro

Ok I got a question I searched and and didn't find an answer is it a decent truggy?
I thinking about getting the pro and converting it to electric so I have an electric truggy, seeing my HPI MT1 conversion isn't going so well.
Also anyone know of a low priced motor mount and what sized pinion I would need? I plan on using a standard 540 sized motor on it with a 3mm shaft.
Any input would be appreciated.

I'm not worried about a battery holder seeing I already fashioned one for my MT1 that I can just slap on.

www.rc-monster.com makes a motor mount for it. You'll need a mod 1 pinion, I believe, which means you'll probably have to get a pinion with a 5mm bore and a sleeve.

Hmm if its mod 1 I wonder if http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...inion-Gear-13T would work seeing it would end up cheaper than ordering the 5mm bore and getting a space.
I tried a spacer before on my other e-convert and wasn't happy with it, the pinion wasn't centered perfectly and would wobble a fraction of a mm, cut into the spur, and losened the motor mount up.

Those would work and now that I think of it, there should be 3mm mod 1 pinions all over the place since both the new Jammin' and Hyper electric short course trucks use mod 1 pinions. And the Jammin' uses the exact same drivetrain as the CRT.5
