I'm waiting to receive my first truggy, a Team Associated RC8T Race Spec...I know this truggy can do great with a few upgrades. In what order of importance should I do the upgrades. I plan on upgrading little by little as I learn to race it. I've heard the shocks, servos are probably the first. What do you all suggest? New here...thanks in advance for helping!

the RC8T RS is more than capable of winning right out of the box .... it needs no upgrades exept some wheel time for the driver

I would say that if it doesn't have the nice big bore shocks, get those. But the rest I would just leave it be, run it, and decide for yourself what needs to be upgraded. One of the local AE racers here breaks the rear hub carriers with regularity but he runs that thing HARD. So the alloy hub carriers might be something to look into. Your main concern is gonna be replacement parts rather than upgrades. Hingepins and shock shafts are always good to have along with rod ends and suspension arms.

yea the RS comes with plastic bodied shocks, so i would upgrade to the FT shocks. the only thing i have broke/bent has been the rear outter hinge pins .. but the truck was 20ft above a 12ft half pipe LOL soooooo i figure that hinge pins bending from that much air isn't a big deal since i was straight up abusing the truggy.
