Has anyone ever had trouble installing this engine into their truggy? I can't get it to sit right in my truggy which is a LSP. The pull starter is rubbing the edges of the purple mounting plates that's bolted to the chassis. How can i fix this

I don't know for certian with that engine and I don't have that specific truggy but you may need to convert it to bumpstart for it to fit properly. I have had to do this with a couple engines/truggys I have had. you could also try to make spacers to go between the engine block and the motor mount to raise the whole motor so you are not touching the mounting plates. this has worked for me before as well.

Normally when this happens you need a different engine mount. For many companies, they have an RTR mount, and a kit mount. The pullstart backplate generally doesn't fit on a kit engine mount. I.e., you need an RTR mount.
