Default Jammin X2 CRT Pro VS. RTR

I just got a Jammin X2 RTR, and I love it. I already ditched the radio and got a DX3S. My Question is what parts would be needed to make the RTR a pro kit?

If it is like the x1 im thinking
chassis
chassis braces
engine mounts
shocktowers
hard anodized knuckles
cvd's
some other stuff when I ran the x1 I started rtr and then just bought the pro and swapped alot over
maybe somebody else can chime in

^^^^^^^
radio tray
center diff top plate
steering top plate
and a few other things

however i think the chassis braces are the same between the RTR and kit with the X2.<br type="_moz" />

yes sir. i own both well only one is run-able right now. my X1 and X2 are both pro kits and i have been robbing parts off the X1 like crazy. most parts off the X1 work on the X2. i have heard (but never tried) that the front aluminum chassis brace gives the truggy more traction, but like i said havent tried. i switch to HB so my dad is going to start running the X2 truggy again, he let me have it since i sold all of my stuff and was still trying to decide on what i wanted. it was down to an O'donnell or Mugen buggy and i bought a HotBodies truggy hahahhaha

I made a few switches from jammin x1 to the mugen 5t and now losi
i never wanted to be a losi person but honestly its a great truck it just sucks that every freakin person runs one
im thinking about getting either the rc8t rtr and upgrading alot or just buying a d8t and all the requirements
lol i just love truggies ive tried buggy but im just not competitive with them

what requirements? only one is the aluminum servo horn. also some better bearings in the diff case will be helpful. but thats all that is needed or will be needed. i run one now and have been racing it atleast once a week and most weeks race it at two different races, one sat and one sunday.

oh lol my bad. but if you are looking for a killer engine for a great price i suggest an Alpha engine. its less than 300 for pipe and engine.

ive got an even cheaper setup
dynamite .21 red head I threw it in my truck when my reedy gave me misfortune and with the right pipe these things work really well.
not as much top end as a race engine but its got most of the grunt.
our new team team name should be Chase and Jmaxey51 thread jackers lol

haha yeah just kinda died, no questions no nothing. so i guess we took over haha. but did your reedy have the silicone come out of the crank? if so just take it out and run it, it will still work just fine, you'll loose about 30 seconds of runtime tho.

and i dont know much about dynamite engines, never ran them and never helped anyone tune them. GRP and Alpha engines have been my favorite engines. GRP is back by the way just under a new name, but these Alpha engines are just way to cheap and good to pass up lol. but where did you buy your dynamite from? also you could go up a tooth on your clutch bell to get more top speed, but youll loose a little on bottom.

no I think mine was bad alluminum because there is the thinnest hairline crack on the bottom seam of the case.
the dynamite i got from my lhs they are only 129(or less) and are the best bang for the buck
ive seen an alpha before and you are right those things are insane but the one I saw was too much for a tight indoor track.
I just keep my CB th same because the tracks around here are so different( one is big with descent jumps and the other is super tight and technical)

What parts are interchangable between the X2 truggy and X1 buggy?

diff cases, out drives, front c-hub, front steering top plate, rear hubs, hinge pins, etc. you can go to the ofna or jammin products site and print the manuals and just look and see what part numbers are the same. alot of parts between all of the jammins are interchangeable.
