Default After three years...

I have the itch to run my Losi eight t, it's been sitting in my basement for the last three years. I'm going to get some fuel tomorrow and give it a go, the engine is a Xtm 457 pull start do I need to prep the engine in any way short of taking it apart? The fuel lines have a slight brownish color to them will that be an issue?

If you didn't run it completely out of fuel before you put it away, you'll wanna change the fuel lines, take the carb off, disassemble the carb and the engine and blast 'em with nitro cleaner. When fuel sits in an engine, the alcohol evaporates leaving behind just the castor oil and it gums up everything.
