The CRT without a doubt! I have seen the Hellfire in a quite a few races now with the CRT and the CRT's are much more reliable and look so much more at home on the track than the Hellfire.

i would say jammin also ive had a few issues with my pro kit but the rtr looks pretty good i like the fact they use an aluminum upper steering plate cause the graghite one on the pro will shatter on hard impact. that and its like 60.00 cheaper and race proven. lots of after market parts already avalible.

The Hot Bodies with the new nubz tires will out handel the the jammin. Go with the rtr for 379.00 cannot go wrong. The diffs are kyosho and are bullet proof and will handle alot of power. With the proper set up the HB is a Great truggy. The CRT is newer but not better. Set up is criticle with al of the things. With the HB go 7,10,,20 2 for the diffs an 60wt shock silicon front and 50 rear , nubz tires and you will love it.

Come on man. How can you ask that queston. The Jammin CRT is total domination. It's a race machine. Every other truggy is slowly fading at the your local track if you didnt already notice.

^^^^^ lol what he said...I think Im gonna go with the jammin...Ive driven a friend of mines hellfire and its cool and all but I think the jammin will do better on the track. HPI seems to fade out thire cars after a few years and parts get hard to come by after all look at the hyper 7, how long has it been around.....forever. Thats what I like about OFNA and traxxas look at the nitro stampede....I had one of those ten years ago lol.....Yep thats it I got it figured out Im gonna run the Jammin,REVO and the MBX 4,the wife is gonna run the Hyper 7 pcr.......Thanks guys

At my local track, it's like 5 crt's and 2 mugen racing all the time. Saw a hot bodies once but didnt even compare with the mugen and jammin

RE: Jammin or Hellfire...????

i went with the hellfire because its easy to get parts from hpi and their cust serv is the best. i cant even tell you how many free parts they have sent even when its my fault. parts for my savage 4.6 that is. i havent yet broke my hellfire yet and ive got a .5 gallon through it so far, except the steering servo, it was junk.but, hpi said they will replace no problem for free.
but i was in the same situation on deciding and i went for hellfire.
hpi has proven to make a very durable savage so i figured they would extend their durability to the hellfire.
i also looked at the thunder tiger but parts were to hard to come by and i called their cust serv before i bought to ask a few questions about the truck and they couldnt tell me anything about it.
the only draw back i see on the hellfire is the weight of the truck. from what i understand the jammin is like 2lbs lighter?
anyway the hellfire is a very fun fast truck and this summer i hope to race it.
if you want to do your own engine and all i would definatley get the jammin.
i love my hpi nitro stars .

The nubs work great on the jammin but you have to get up the courage to drill two holes in you steering knucle 2.5mm away from the stock ones and you have to shave down the rod end alittle so it will steer lock to lock. This narrows the truck alittle and makes it respond quicker and the nubz are so light that accelleration is improved also. You can also get 15mm long 17mm hex extended hubs that will allow you to run the nubz straight up but the response gain is not as much. If nubz are hooking up at your track it's worth running them on your CRT. And I have a set with me at all times for dry hardpacked conditions.
