Thicker diff oil. Or lower profile tires with inner ribbing helps. Another trick is to take duct tape and put one pass around the inside of the tire to stiffen it up.

What tires are baloonong the fronts? You need thicher center diff fluid to get more traction in the rear.

The center diff has grease. Put in some 20wt and it will decrease the balooning.

you mean 20k right. i hope so also look into proline mtr tires have inner ribbing wich helps prevent ballooning. if you think you st1 has a problem you should see my crt with my 528 im surprised the tires stay on the wheels. but up the center diff oil to 20k or 30k reduce front droop it wont help the ballooning it will just help put the power down for more forward movement

ORIGINAL: rcmxsports want run tirews that do not baloon out so much which model bransds or trick to keep them from doing it. Depends on what you are doing with your truggy. If you are racing I would use 6-10k silicone diff lube. If you are bashing and are not that concerned about loosing a little turn in. Lock it up with 30k diff lube. |
