servo question

what causes digital servos to whine so to speak1 like a glitchy whine noise

RE: servo question

Mate dont worry about the glitching electronic servo sounds. Digital servos make sounds.

RE: servo question

Id check your EPAs and linkages sometimes there can be resistance on the servo when it tries to center, and that would cause it to buzz or hum,

RE: servo question

no the do it when nothing is attached too! no horn or anything. im runnin a airtronics for throttle and a jr 9100t for steering and they both do it mostly the airtronics

I'm using a 9100t also, mine doesn't buzz... yet

The humming would drive me nuts too

RE: servo question

To answer ur question.....Digital servo's have a WAY more accurate center line on the Pot..therefor they are ALWAYS trying to recenter.....causing the whine ur hearing.....analoge's are a little sloppy around center and dont mind as much.....its no big deal with a little load on em....but as u said there whining at idle...with No horns on....thats not right....they should be Dead Silent....I would look into the top case of the servo and see if u can see anything a miss......has the servo acted up at all ? being a JR i would just send it back and see what they say if u have a spare to use in the meantime.

RE: servo question

my ace servos make noise, but if you pick the tires off the ground they stop so they should not make noise if there is no horn attached, I would send it back if this is the case

RE: servo question

hey:
the servos on my Trinity Next make a lot of noise too, although the truck and servos are perfectly fine
it's nothing at all you should worry or drive yourself crazy about[8D]
