Upgrading
 

I got a kyosho dst and I was wondering about upgrading in the future maybe. Do all pipes and engines fit in most of the truggys like are most parts universal. And I can stick any old high "heat?" glow plug in and itll work right?

Most of the time, there are lots of parts that are interchangable"universal." The problem is figuring out which ones. Motors are usually interchangable, bearings, shocks, springs, wheels, drive shafts are for the most part universal, you just have to pay close attention to your manual. Read through your manual whenever you are trying to make upgrade choices. That will make it easier to find interchangable parts, or parts with specs that are close enough to make you happy.

Don't spend money upgrading a DST unless you really have love for the car and a racing class for it locally. Save your money and get a 1/8th scale.

Foxy is right. However, run the heck out of that DST and get your skills honed while you save for the 1/8 scale of your dreams.
