Center Differnetial Question
 

I own a Jammin CRT.5 and a traxxas revo. The crt.5 doesn't seem to have the controllability in the air of my revo. It also doesn't seem to have the jump off the line. The clutch shoes are new in the crt.5. Therefore bringing up the question of the center differential. Would thicker center differential fluid improve my acceleration off the line and controllability in the air.

I believe that the crt.5 comes with either 1000 or or 500wt oil in the center. I have 30000 but don't want to have a solid center diff.

thanks mcwolf. Should I go with the 30k or should I go with something a little lighter like 15 or 20k?

I'm not familiar with the jammin crt.5 diffs but I'm sure you'd be ok to start with 15,000 diff fluid.

As far as controlablity in the air its probably because of tire size. Bigger tires will let you have more controll over the angle of the truck in the air.

I run something like 5k/5k/1k (f/c/r) in my CRT .5. The CRT is also heavy for it's size, which makes it less responsive to changes in the air. However, I have no problem controlling the angle in the air with mine.

Also, the CRT uses smaller buggy wheels, bigger wheels would allow you to change the angle in the air with less input.
