First Truggy

Picked up a Jammin CRT 1 roller and plan to drop my HPI k4.6 in it. Will this engine fit, or do Ineed to go with something other than the pullstart? What is stock gearing for the Jammin CRT1? What weight grease is standard in the center diff?Truggy flywheel and clutch shoes any different from a MT?

Do truggies need exceptionally strong steering servos..I assume not, but what would be adequate...150oz's? Sorry for the random questions, but this will be my first truggy so Im a little pumped to get puttin it together.

Or is there and "official Jammin CRT1 Thread"? Ididnt see one in my searches

get the Jammin JPX 21, it will be plenty for that truggy. no truggy needs anything more than a 21, 28 are not better and will tear up the drive train way faster. the JPX 21 has gobs of power, more than youll ever need IMO. i run one and its a hand full sometimes. its my back up now, it has about 9 gallons on it and its still running strong. in my X1 we ran 7k front 20k center 3k rear. and IMO this is the best clutch system, lasts a good while:http://www.championrc.com/cd/ASD-00534ST/Ascendancy-RacingSTEEL-FLYWHEEL-KITEffortless-Racing-Clutch-Kit-(34-mm)-

youll also need a 13 tooth clutch bell, i say one of these:http://www.championrc.com/cd/ASD-V00...ell-w-bearings

also you need atleast 250 oz/in in a truggy. i run the Hitec 7955 and it will last you years and its 333 oz/in and sometimes its still not enough. also the 7954 is almost the same ting but 20 bucks cheaper. for throttle i used to have one that was 144 oz/in and it wasnt enough so now i have one that is 275 oz/in. and it struggles on high bight.
RE: First Truggy

I just bought an engine for my savage, so I have the 4.6 sittin unused...im aware there are better engines, but Im not going to finance another at this time when I have one capable. At least 250 oz's torque?? I dont even have that much in my savage and it works just fine...why do truggies need so much? 150 oz for throttle not enough...that seems a bit odd. What is it about truggies that need so much torque? I should say that I am not a racer....just bashin

Thanks for the links to the clutch/flywheel/CB.....all questions I needed answered..much appreciated.

truggies are much faster and more capable of things, but you can run the ones you already have def since your a basher, but they may burn up. but should last you a good while, upgrade as things break. by the way, you got one tough truggy. i ran jammins for a year and broke one A-arm and i never took it easy on it lol

that one is what i used to run on my X1 and X2 but only thing is the springs get weak fast. so my advice is to buy some kyosho 1.1 springs and they will last longer than ofna gold.
