I am probably going to make the trip one way or another. I hope to bring something to fly but I will at least show up to see it.

Carey,, if you need a place to sit, you can put with us. Four ir five of our club guys are going Friday the 29 th

Already have reservations... I'm in for sure.

I love this show.. and if you are a flyer, it's easy to get flight time even though there are about 500 planes there.

Bring those warbirds guys !

Default DOGS

I'm bringing my air force. I'm local so if you have any questions ask away. The flight line gets kind of long so bring good walking shoes.

Default Scale Masters

I's confused! The Scale Masters web site states that the dates are September 24 thru the 28th. I sure hope it is not the end of August! I'm on vacation the end of August.

Default I'm There

Carey and the rest,

I will be attending the show also. I hope to bring a few planes to fly and a lot of things to show off as well. Let's make this the
best Giant Scale Event in the North and come out in force.
With the new flight schedule, maybe we can fly without dodging
all of the helicopters.

Hope to see you all there.

Darrell

There will plenty of time for us warbird flyers. Go here to see the schedule and other info: http://www.rcwarbirds.com/returntodayton.htm

If you love warbirds this is going to be the biggest and best show in the country to attend this year. Just seeing our r/c warbirds fly off those historic runways again makes me come back each year. And the museum is fantastic. Plan allot of time to walk through that place, the book store alone took me two hours! Last time they had a WWII ME163 Komet and this year a WWII German V-2 Rocket with launcher!

They are asking for allot of warbirds this year for the Centenial of Flight. I hope we can show them what "allot" of warbirds looks like

Default Another 100th to attend...

It just so happens that Harley Davidson will be having thier 100th anniversary birthday party the same time as the DOGS event. Seeing as Milwaukee WI is a tad closer for me I'll be tooling down there on my HOG to celebrate.
Take lots of pictures Paul for those of us who won't be there to see the warbirds.
Safe trip too all those heading down there.

Default How much is admission for spectators?

I saw the promotion at RCWarbirds, which said admission is $20.00 per pilot. Anyone know what admission is for specators? Thanks.

So at Dayton, with it running Fri-Sat-Sun, is it worth it to go up on Friday? Or is it pretty sparse on Friday and all the best stuff to see is on Saturday. I'll just be going as a spectator, and browsing the vendor booths.

I'm in eastern Cincinnati, so fortunately it's only about an hour for me.

Thanks,
George

Big Retracts, are you bringing stuff to sell as well, or is this a pleasure trip, if you are selling I would like to pick up a control valve for my P38 project, if it's a pleasure trip I will not bother you with business. I have planned to give a full day to the museum (fri) and help Paul with pics on Sat, hopefully next year I will have something ready to fly.

I will have to skip the Dayton event. I unfortunatly need a dentist more than the trip so maybe next year.

My friend Bill Russell is going and will be taking photos of the warbirds for rcwarbirds.com. I hope to have a full report soon next week.

Default Big Valve

Bill,

I am going to bring some things to the Event. I already
have one of the valves set aside for you.

Hope to see you soon.

I hope I can get there next year. It is a day trip to get there for me.

I was at the museum last May. I want to see the new hanger. This is probably the best Air Museum in the world.
