Default What a Great Flite/day

I had the opportunity to take part in 2 pilots check rides on a NA B-25 Short nose. Had a 75MM cannon in the nose. The pilots had to fly with a FAA inspector pilot to be checked out in this type of Aircraft. This is so they could be rated to fly it. Both flites totalled about 4 1/2 hrs in the air. We did touch and go arounds, one engine out landings, no flaps high speed landings, and would you believe dead stick (no engines). My best pal got me on board as a crewman,(radio operator, cannoneer). The 75mm cannon originally came from a Sherman tank. Here's a couple of photo's Stuka Jon

Way to go John, I thought I had a great time at TOP GUN today but I would have traded for the ride in that baby.
