TF P47-ARF 60 Bent Gear
Hey, I am having problems with the gear bending on my p-47. I am using robart retracts with the wire that came with the arf, the gear will be okay for sevaral landings.
but if it bends slightly it causes the gear doors to jam the gear. Any suggestions. Could the wire that came with the arf be a cheaper grade of metal. What if if make
my own and go with a straight gear without the circle bend.

I must have about 100 flights on mine by now, NEVER had any problems with the stock mechanisms on mine, NOR bent wires. Probably because I added #650 RoboStruts to the stock wires, AND retained the spring loops. Here is a link to the page showing mine:

BTW: I use only 1 battery: a 1200 mAH 5 cell NiMih, and it too has never even come close to failing me.
