Go get em!
You have shared every step in the process.
I have watched the thread since inception and could only dream of doing what you guys have done.
Your team has done a remarkable presentation for everyone IN THE HOBBY TO SCRUTINIZE.
No one else has ever shown, a blow by blow, description of the entire process to building and competing in the "Top Gun" competition.
What you have done is to give everyone the chance to challenge every little nuance that you guys have produced.
Now you get to present it, and fly it, in front of the most critical people in the Hobby.
You guys haveare the "best of the best."
Dino: No pressure my friend in flying a plane that you have never flown before.
I hope you can find all the switches to operate all the guns, gear, lights, sounds etc on a very complicated plane that you have never flown before.
If it can be done in one year, you guys have the best team to do it.
Best wishes from an avid fan of some great guys having fun doing what us kids like to do!

RE: CARF F4U-1 Corsair build thread
Hey guys
Just a little update.
They flew the corsair today for a practice flight and about halfway through the flight the engine spit a pushrod.
The pushrod exited the cowl through the front and hit the prop. One blade was half gone from the pushrod strike.
Dino landed with no damage.
They found the adjuster for the pushrod in the cowl. Somehow it came loose.
I have a video I made of that flight and only missed the takeoff.
I'll upload it tonight and post a link.
Just another Top Gun moment.

Buckmeister, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Wayne, thanks for the scary update, Its a wonder the vibration didn't tear it apart. Dino truly is an ICEMAN. Hope they got back together for the next round ?

WHAT A GREAT SHOT!!!!! Thanks David. We had rolled the plane out on the runway to run the engine and get the prop set for the proper RPMs after making all the repairs and adjusting the valves. All went well and the Moki is once again running well.
We worked well after dark on a couple other things, even moving the plane to a friends tent where a rather nice party was going on under lights.
Got back to my room a little bit ago and found myself locked out.[]
Just got the night person to let me in. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

After watching that video, the term "FLY IT LIKE YOU GOTTA PAIR!" comes to mind , and Dino certainly does.
Just perfection in all axis. This is the way to fly a F4U Corsair.

A few photos from yesterday.
A few photos from yesterday.
I saw the photo passes in the video but I did not notice until your last image that the right wing folding hatch was open!
Do you make your high res images available?
