Mine too Brad.I can't sit or stand more than 5 m and I have to start walking.Doesn't hurt much when I'm flying though.
I would like to get new landing gear for my H9 P 47 150 size.I try to behave but you know how that goes.

Christmas came a little early, a new Pt-17 Stearman to replace the one I mid-aired this fall[:@] and on the board now is a TF p-47, and in the box is an old Dynaflite PT-19 That should keep me busy for a while. Hoping for a DLE-20 for the 47 and a few accesories. Merry Christmas all

I would LOVE to get one of the new Top Flite Corsair ARFs for Christmas, but I realistically don't see it happening. I'm retired now, living in retirement income, and just don't see how I can afford one at this time (nor wife, nor kids). Maybe later. Already have engine (Saito .91) and retracts Robart 615s AND 102s/ mechanical) and all needed radio gear.
Oh well,...

Excited that I pre-ordered the new hanger 9 P-47.... it's going to be a really nice conversion to E-Power
but don't think I'll see it until the end of Feb. , which is fine I have a ton of work to do on other planes

That's been my story in recent years. Like everyone, we are on a tighter budget so I won't complain. That being said, I just received an email from Tower - something about my order being shipped?. Could it be that she paid attention to my wish list email? I have alot of items on my list, but I suspect it might be the TF Elder 40 kit with wire wheels and Vickers machine gun. That would be a welcome easy winter build. We'll see....

Well I guess that I will have to start to build kits again, and repare the ones I have. With all the ARF's coming out of China I guess kits are a better idea as long as they are made in the USA.

RC I don't know if the Skysharks are made here or over seas.It used to be a lot easier to actually know but with all the kits, arf's,arc's and so forth,I try to stick with the TF,H9 or Sig,and so forth[again].

So,tell me what size plane are all of you [ya'll] comfortable staying with or is there no limit??
For myself I am probably going to stay with the 85" size.Money wise and transportation of the planes,I believe I will stay in this range.I have Moki's and will not be going with gas.I like the smell of glow, more expensive but that's OK.How about ya'll.

I like this size range too prop wash, puts a lot of WW2 fighters in the 1/5th scale range.
If I ever went to 1/4 scale it would have to be a Hawker Hurricane but I can't see that happening for a few years yet.

Last summer I took my nephew to war bird day and he was hooked. On Christmas he got a "Real flite" and for his birthday this week he is getting[got] a Sig LT 40 "KIT",so he will have a lot of work this spring.Maybe I'll have a flying partner for a while. I also have a WM P51 up in the attic for him.

Yes I do Brad... although I hate to start one before finishing another...l'm ready for a group build when you start. I have two fuse's, and not enough time....I have the wing set from Holman...so as much as I hate to say it...lets get busy, when you're ready!!

I also have Sierra landing gear, which is different than yours, so.it will be interesting to see the difference between the two set of gears.

No new planes for me this Christmas. Did get my club dues and AMA paid so I'm good for another year.

I'm going to try and be extra good this coming year and maybe Santa will leave a BUSA 1/3 scale Dr-1
under the tree next Christmas.

Mike
