ESM STUKA
I 'am thinking about picking one up next week, but I have been looking at video's of guys flying them , they seem to fly ok but I do not think I saw one good landing . I do not know wether it is the pilot's or the plane. Can anyone shed some light on the ESM STUKA. I cannot tell if they are coming in to slow and using to much elevator or is it something with the plane ? I would appreciate any info on this . I would like to hear from someone with the ESM model.
thanks Bob

RE: ESM STUKA
My Stuka lands beautifully and practically floats in like a trainer at 18.5lbs. This airframe really seems to handle any extra weight you throw at it really well. I'm guessing the pilots in the videos were nervous. Once I got over those nerves, I can gently set her down on her mains and drop the tail down after a 20 foot rollout. She does have a tendency to nose over though, so be quick on that elevator.

Have you got some experience with DLE 30 and 3 blades prop?

RE: ESM STUKA
Yes, that's my plane. I initially flew it with a 16X8 Master Airscrew 3 blade but didn't like the performance, so I'm now running a 20X8 two blade. It works very well with the DLE 30. I didn't want to spend tons of cash on an 18" three blade, so I ended up switching to a two.
