Default Spitfire MKIX

Hi,

The Spitfire had eliptical wings and cliped wings, they could change the tips, is there somebody that has drawings from it?

What is the best way to make it as scale as possible?
Thanks

Tom

Default Wingtips.....

The three wing tips [standard, clipped and extended] are shown quite well in the Aero Detail book #27. If you dont already have this book, I suggest you get it, there is detail that you just cant live without.

ISBN4-499-22709-7 (From back of cover)
Published by Dainippon Kaiga Co. Ltd. Tokyo, Japan.

I think this book is out of print or hard to get but you might try getting in touch with www.aeroplanebooks.com out of Williamsburg, VA.

Hi Vic,

The one you are telling is the one I'll have, but I'm not asking for the real thing, but for a scale spitfire...maybe I told it wrong.

Thanks for the ISBN number braindead.

Sorry for that.

www.aeroplanebooks.com has the book for $29.95 plus about 5 bucks shipping. I don't know if they still have any in stock but it would save you a little cash.
