I agree with BOLTMAN about the Tempest. I voted for the KI-61 but I would like to see it in 50 cc (86-88 inch) range. They are coming out with a Zero, but it looks like it will 80 inch. I would like to see that also in 50 cc.

My votes for the Mossy, the He-111 and the JU-88. All about the same size as their Bf-110. (Think twin 20cc size)

A 30 or 50cc sized Helldiver would be really cool as well!

I agree they should update or improve the hardware and/or pull-pull system and fully sheet the wings.
DEFINATELY replace the technical writer of their instructions. Heck, I'm sure nearly any of us could do better.[img][/img]

I'm sorry Tucano fans, it's just waaaayyyyy too ugly!

Tucano ugly? You spent too much time under the sun there in Texas... It cooked yer brain:-) There are no ugly airplanes, but some, have more personality than others... And the Tucano as the Warthog have a lot of that...

Added a few options, looks like the "DH 98 Mosquito of approx 100" span" is in the lead with 10 Votes! I've edited the 96" P-38 to 93". This plane will already be coming out in 93" in the future.

ESM/ECOM RC ARFs currently in production and not yet released:

[link=http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/ESMMIG3-80FAF.html]80" Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 (June 2013)[/link]
77" Beechcraft Model 17 (Winter 2013)
110" Vought F4U Corsair (Winter 2013)
127" de Havilland Beaver
93" Lockheed P-38 Lightning
88" P-51 Mustang

HAHAHA! OK, Gerry! I disagree that there are PLENTY of ugly airplanes, but this isn't on my top list. It just looks like it was designed by a bunch of Speedo wearing Brazilians! Oh, wait... It was!

I know, Iknow... Too much sun! I hope she makes the production list for you.

Are you talking about the Bucker Bestman? I agree, that was a very obscure choice. I had to look up the plane on the net to find out what it was.

Not sure where this one came from. We got word of it 2/2012 when we just became the North American distributors again so it was decided on when we were not in the loop! We sold out of a small amount we got in on our first shipment so they seem popular! Picture attached for everyone's reference.

A lot of times we and other distributors like YT International encourage manufacturers to come out with different products. The Beechcraft Staggerwing is an exact end result from this. My co-worker Asher who does not fly but appreciates aviation sent an email to ECOM RC back in August 2012 mentioning only "this would make a great future ECOM plane" and they went with it! We also proposed the P-51B Tuskegee scheme, and several others.

This thread in itself is one way to get great info as to what people are into nowadays. All the information from this thread will be directed to ESM. Certain planes that a lot of people say they would like to see does not mean they will buy and build them. Twin or Quad engine planes will sell less. 50cc and up will sell less than 30cc and down. That's just the natural order of things. It costs a lot more to make a 50cc plane flight ready than a 30cc, and not everyone has unlimited funds, space, or wife's patience to get more or bigger planes!

Even though ESM's small F4U will always sell more than the 50cc model that does not man the 50cc shouldn't be made or isn't successful. A lot of consideration and speculation is taken usually when coming out with new models since at the end of the day, they must sell. You don't need a grand slam with every product but you do need them to move!

One thing I would like to see, whatever they build, is to make them more "ELECTRICFRIENDLY" as they did with the 88" ME109. It seems that more and more flying sites are regulating noise levels, and with advancements in batterys and electronics, more people are going that way.

Yes electric friendly would be nice.
I personally voted for the 30cc P-40
I'm not really interested in 100¨ planes due to storage and logistics issues

Check out our Bestman video, that actually was made electric ready. This is one point we've been trying to get across with ESM/ECOM RC.

yes this is nice
What would be great will be battery access hatch on top of the model so you don't need to turn it over
I know it will increase the price of the molds

Waaaayyy too ugly?!?!? WHAT?!?!? Time for more Tucano pictures. The Tucano has beautiful, curvacious, sexy, JLo-esque lines imho. (No more Tucano pictures after this - I promise)

I think you should close the option to vote for the planes already in production, or planed for. They take up 13% of the vote ATM. For a more accurate pole, wouldn't you want to remove those?

Edit:

also in a perfect world, it would be nice to see all offerings in 30cc and 50cc size.

Done. I was going back and forth on this, but it's probably the correct choice to delete them.

Unfortunately there are a lot of options so far, I think by tomorrow I will stop adding options and let people just vote on what's there!

Good choice I think,

You have a good group of planes to choose from in the list as it is, some great ones in my opinion.

Might be nice to take a trip down to Rio and see the young -f-e-m-a-l-e Brazilian engineers and non-engineers soaking up some sun on the beach.

And speaking of the Embraer Tucano, my favorite regional jet is the Embraer RJ145......because it's got the 1 - 2 seating. I can sit all by myself, look out the window, and still have an aisle seat.

Like Isaid, I hope you get your wish!

I can just hear theagonizingwhen you are trying to mount an inverted gas engine and put the nosewheel retract all in the same place. Look at your photos again andthink 'model aircraft. Hmmmmm...

Despite the fact that I voted for the 30cc P-40, could we add one more plane that I think might get some votes?

IL-2 Sturmovik. This plane was produced in huge numbers but nobody seems to offer it in an ARF. It would awesome to see one of any size, although I personally prefer the 30cc planes.

Hi all,
I agree with irocbsa. For example IL-2 Sturmovik was very famous attack airplane during the WWII, but you can´t order any ARF. I have only one plan, but it´s very small. The wingspan is 1400mm (55,1"). The other is LaGG-3.

I think that ESM, CMP and the other should make warbirds in the same scales. For example 1/6, 1/5 and 1/4. Why? My friend and me, wanted to have two airplanes in the same scale from the same front. For example: P-40 nad Ki-43, A6M5 Zero and Mustang, Machi MC 202 and Spitfire. I don´t think that the paints should be from the same front (it is small detail), but for us is important the scale, because we want it for the air-shows and competitions.
I hope, that you understand me.

Problem with the Tacano mainly is it is not a warbird. No guns, not a warbird in my world. Trainers do not belong in the conversation.
