Hello Tom
We had to move the RV/camping area outside of the active airport fencing due to insurance reasons, I thought the aerial photo had been changed, I will have that done in the next day or two. You can park your trailer in the RV area if you would like to and camp, no problem there.

Hello Stamper,
We have stationed the pits to facilitate easier movement of planes to the flight line via the hard surface ramp or down the aisle-way
between the pits. Thank you for your concern.

We just got back from Warbirds and Classics over the Midwest in Fon Du Lac WI. They had a fabulous weekend weather, pilot, and spectator wise.
This is a great venue and if you have never been there make plans to do so. We are proud to be a part of the Warbird and Classics Alliance with them. On to Muncie next on the 29-31 of August and then our Event.

Lee, I am planning on attending--although it may be in my "normal show & tell" performance--which you can come to expect now I suppose..lol. It would seem that you are the driving force behind the inaugural event? I will see what I can do to roust up a few buddies to drag with me. I love the idea, location, and it's timing right in line with the other midwestern fly-ins. This one will make it a lot more accessible for the Ohio, Michigan and central/southern Illinois and Indiana guys. I am guessing your turn out will be awesome. You KNOW there will be some awesome birds there. Good going. See you there.

Yeah, they should be even more enthusiastic when they see what shows up right? Got my Mom's birthday the weekend of Muncie, so will have to count on Elkhart. Be lovely to see those Spitfires again. Can't wait for a road trip!

Grass strip is looking good. Seeded, watered and rolled. No obstructions. 75 x 1000.
Photo is looking to the North with the Hard Surface to the left.
