The first pair of 1/5 scale P-51 cockpit side panels platforms is done! We are going to list the cockpit side panels kit after new year! As you can see, designed right for TopFlite giant scale P-51D.

I´m working on the first pair of cockpit side panels for 1/5 scale P-51. Tomorrow I would like to add all switches and finish the painting job. It seems, there will be another nomenclature job next days.
The cockpit kit will come in January 2021.

Hey Jiri,
Whats the dimensions of the radio box for the P-51D?
I have two servos mounted upside down on the "radio deck" im wondering if your box will be big enough to cover them (wish i could post a pic...)

[QUOTE=Prekin;12650652]Thank you John. No worry, those are designed for "D" version.
But if you decide to replace the radio eqp., let me know.
I will for sure Jiri, oh I meant to ask, do you make a 5” mkix spinner by chance?

I'm trying to locate the drop tanks fore and aft. I need a dimension for 1/5 scale, preferably the distance from the tip of the tank to the leading edge. I can't find reliable location dimensions anywhere. I tried measuring 1/32 scale and not good enough. Anybody have a good reliable dimension I could use?

Thanks Wyoturbine, for a 1/5 scale kit, using the leading edge as a datum, a guy gave me these dimensions. The pylon was 40 mm back, (1.57 in.) and the tank tip was forward 67 mm (2.63 in.) I could not find any dimensions on the net and I'm hoping the kit designer was correct. I was surprised to find nothing.

I am thinking, that the P-51 exhaust shrouds may be available with the base with fasteners just like on real Mustang. The frame is hidden under the cowl, but it may help to attach the shrouds to cowls.

I am near the point where I will be selling short kits and a copying/printing service. The Top Flight P-51's are next on my list. Open to suggestions as to what other Mustangs people would be interested in as a short kit.
