Hi Guys
I have a question for those of you who have flown the Ziroli P38.
What prop would you recommend for this model? { I am using DLE 55 engines and I fly at approx' sea level} I ask this now as I want to cut my spinners and am not sure whether to go 3 blade or two.
Another question :- How does the requirement to have redundant RX batteries work If I opt to use Futaba's Sbus system? Where I can power "servo clusters {or hubs}" with discreet batteries thus eliminating long power leads and associated voltage drop.
Thanks in advance
Dave

I too just found this group! I'm very happy to see I'm not the only Lightning addict!
I've got a VQ Lightning that I bought with the intention of converting to electric. This has turned out to be more difficult than I'd planned. The biggest issues are AUW and room for batteries.
I'd initially purchased a pair of eflite 90's/esc's and 6s batteries... but after weighing all of parts, it was going to end up near 20lbs. I'm now thinking of using eflite 60's with smaller batteries.
This won't be a show plane... as I want it to be a flier! 6 channels and no/not many frills. Any thoughts on how to keep AUW as low as possible and suggested power/esc/battery combinations would be appreciated.
