If it flies as well as it looks !
There was actually a WW1 pilot from my Moms home town of Colfax Iowa that flew this type of plane.. James Norman Hall, he was quite the guy from the sound of his life history...
Have fun with that Spad !

She is flying great, now. For the first two flight it was way too nose heavy....I had added two pounds of lead to the nose to get the CG to the spot shown on the plans. I removed one pound and it flew better, but still nose heavy. I removed the other pound and now the plane is flying much better. With a 10 mph headwind it was off the ground in 20 feet and climbing fast. Rolls are slow but very scale-like...nothing like the way a modern aerobatic plane rolls. Loops are easy to do. The plane will snap roll and spin and comes out with no problem. I think I can move the batteries back behind the wing and make it fly even nicer. Landings are slow and easy, too. My buddy took some video which he will post soon.

One of our local modelers here in Vegas built a BUSA Spad, and detailed it to the max. I have flown it many times, including "Warbirds Over The Rockies", and I am impressed by it's flying qualities. He,to, balanced it according to the plans by putting massive amounts of lead in the nose. The lead has all been removed.
