150% Lavochkin LA-7
Ok Guys
Well its time to build something, so I chose and downloaded a set of plans of
David P Anderson's LA-7 plans (http://www.mnbigbirds.com/andersen%20plans.htm)
Here are some of the stats on what the enlarged plane will be:
Wing Span: 144.75"
Fuse Length: 126.50"
cowl: 18.00"
Engine: TBD
Retracts: TBD
I made a copy at a 100%, and then had to the plans to make that magic number
that Kinko's wants 36" wide. With that said I started on the fuse and here is
what the plans look like laid out.
This gives you a basic idea of that the plans and some of the formers look like
I will be ripping a nice straight piece of popular into 1/2"X1/2" stringers this
I hope will get started this weekend. I will be working on making a larger table
in order to do my build.
This gives you an idea of how the formers look, I
will try to give measurements of some of the
formers. More to come soon
