Looks like a True Turn spinner. I've used them alot. Very nice. I wouldn't worry about the scale look that much. Sometimes you have to use what you can.

I've finished the build just need to tune the Flaps and the gear doors. Of course I don't have an air valve so can't check the retract system, but I did remove them to check and the tubes are not kinked I took a picture so you can see how I routed the inner tube.

Also another picture to show you the opening achieved from the gear doors in mm.

here are some pictures of the finished plane but missing the spinner I had as I ordered a prop Hub instead. The spinner didn't allow the nut to be fully tightened on so too dangerous!! The plastic cowl piece doesn't fit as the motor is too big for it, so took it out will see if I can put something else there. Beautiful Plane!

I also tested the Motor with a 3 bladed 18x8 Prop it was pulling 2300 Watts at around 59 Amps, the Motor is rated at 2700 Watts and 60 Amps so I guess I can't go for a bigger Prop as it will definitely pull more current but with 2300 Watts it felt like it wanted to pull the my legs from under me.
Here is a video of the the test if interested.

Nice job. I thought of routing my air line that way. My air line was kinked right at the nipple, had to take the spring off to see it. I need to work on my gear doors too. Looking Good !!

No complaints, this is a great thread, but is it possible to rotate the pictures when posted? Thanks!

I don't know what happens posting from my iPad it just shows the pictures upside down, when you click on them they are right side up.
