Default Pimp up your CARF Corsair

Hi guys,

IŽd like to show you my CARF Corsair.
It flies really great, I love it, my all time favourite plane.

It put some specials parts on it, to make it more "scale", for example the tail hook, brake attrap,.........
All those special parts are 3D printed with the SLS technology

Best regards from Austria,

Erich

Sauber gemacht Erich. Erst klassische verarbeitung. Sieht "fresh from the factory" aus. Was fuer Lack haben Sie benutzt?

I had to exercise my limited German writing skill.

H all together,

@Greg: Thanx, The finish is like the original restorated plane, so no wheatering in this case. I use for the colours 1K coat base and then a 2K semi gloss, nothing special. All coulrs and decals are from "Tailor made decals" from Germany.

@Geir: Thanx, I love it too. The very best for your maiden, you will love it too.

@white rock: IŽm so sorry, but donŽt understand your question.

Default Some modifications ....

Hi guys,

it is long time ago, but NOW I did some modification on my baby.

- I replaced the maingear to an electric version
- The wingfolder is replaced and modified with a electric actuator
- The tail gear changed to a electric version including all gear doors, I constructed myself

All parts work perfect and I am so happy that I realized it.

The price depends what you you need. I took the whole package of maingear and windfolder.
The tail gear I made myself.

Best regards,

Did Matthias produce the 3-D printed parts, like tail hook, also, or just the gear conversion ? I am trying to find out how to purchase some of the 3D printed CARF Corsair parts please.
Thanks-Mike

Hi Mike,

Matthias did just the main-gear and wing Folder conversion.
The tail gear conversion I did myself.
For all the 3d printed parts, I am the right partner. Interested in some parts?

Hi guys,

a lot of things happened. Many scale parts added during the years. For example a real scale tailwheel, the whole cockpit…

Default Tailhook "Stinger" For My Grumman A6 Intruder

Hi Erich,

I am designing a 1:5.5 Grumman A6 "Intruder" (119" x 120") and looking for the tailhook "end"...It is called a "Stinger". Can we possibly work out a trade... for "Flite-Metal the scale aluminum finishing system"...or purchase the .stl file to print it with my Creality 10X.

Looking forward to your reply!
This from the ashes of the "Fight Of The Intruder" A6 movie model # 505.
