Default avoid CAL-GRAFX at all cost

OMG what a nightmare!!

Simply wanted some stars and bars spray masks and killing markings for my P47.

all too bloody hard for this bloke, asks for measuresnts needed, I give them, proof comes back and it is very wrong so I bounce it. He goes nuts blaming me!! What the!

2nd proof comes back and it is wrong as well!! Another huge spray from him not being inclined to cop that I also let rip and gave him my sage advice

Kill markings I was very clear as to what I wanted but no he says oh we use this and it will look ok from a distance. What the F#@#$ I am not accepting that so told him to shove the whole thing and I will go elsewhere.

Total debacle on how to piss of a customer. Never, ever use this clown, arrogant tosser who ignores customer requirements.

Hi Peter-
Sorry to hear you had trouble. My experience was just the opposite-He just finished doing a custom decal from a picture I supplied. Went out of his way to get it sized correctly for me and delivered it to me on time at a fair price.
Again, sorry you had a bad experience, but just being honest-he did right by me and I would use him again.

Forgot to mention that the BEST all around experience that I have with markings so far is Nigel at flightline graphics:
www.flightlinegraphics.com

Got some Corsair nomenclature from him recently, and his instructions and placement guides are the most complete and comprehensive I have ever seen. He is located in the UK and goes by MR Jolly here on RCU. Super quick responding via email and reasonable delivery time from across the pond. Trust me, you will NOT be dissappointed.!!

can only state my experience, your experience is your own and can not be compared to the nightmare he put me through then blamed me for everything. I will never, ever deal with him again.

Jim of Cal-GRAFX has finally refunded me my money back.

I am now using Callie Graphics to get the job done and she is a pleasure to do business with.

Now Callie Graphics have completed the proofs, measurements are spot on and at half the price so why was it so difficult for Jim of Cal-GRAX to get it right and listen to the customer? Pure arrogance.

Love Callie. She did a custom piece for my Stearman ( my Avitar photo) from an old B&W photo and only charged me $20

Kill markings now sorted. Used the original waterslide ones I had but cutting out each individually and applying. They came out very well.
