About the paint; I posted before that this was done entirely with Tamiya acrylic lacquer spray cans. There are only two decals and that’s the two by the cockpit on the left. Everything else is painted with stencils from Callie Graphics. You need to ask specifically for 1/4.4 scale because 1/4 scale is too big for this plane. Same for the cockpit kits and pilot. 1/5 and 12 inch pilots don’t work you have to use 1/4 scale cockpit kits and 15in pilots unless you can find or print 1/4.4 scale parts. I hand made mine.
The clear coat is Spray Max 2K Clear Matte and it’s a catalyzed paint in a aerosol can which I thought was cool, no mixing, no spray gun. However, this paint has a high amount of filler to make it matte and it leaves a fine texture when fully cured. I thought it was overspray but it’s actually the paint cured. I put it on pretty wet hoping it would flow and level out but you can see it land and stick. It’s shrinks as it cures. I’m going to leave it as is and not risk what’s there, it looks fine. I won’t use this in the future though. Maybe the clear gloss or a satin but not the matte. This plane took two cans to cover everything well and I had left over paint.
You may notice the nose cone red is brighter than the checkers. This is because I shot the red over the yellow base, brain fade, without using primer in between. I’ll fix this!

What a fantastic job you did on the plane. How did it fly? Do you have any tips or suggestions for future builders as myself. I plan on doing the Ferrocious Frankie scheme and I'm about 50% done.
