Not if you really know what you are looking at.
The Lower Oleo is way too small for this Size and Weight Plane.
The Down Locks are a Joke. Way to Thin and Made from Soft Aluminum.
The Trunion is again Way too Small for this Size Plane.
The Cylinder hits the Strut when it in the Up Position and makes the Cylinder Leak.
I could go on, but what do I know.
Poor Copy of Actual Quality Retracts.

Currently waiting for BIGPLANES.NL to take action on what to do about these issues....!! Quick replies when ordering, so I guess it wont take long. Will get back when I hear more.

I have been looking at the Iflytailies.com FW 190 cockpit kit. They have one where the instrument panel is 7 1/2" wide and one where the instrument panel is 9 3/8" wide. Any opinions on which kit would best fit this plane? Thanks.

There is no real way to put good scale looking gear into the Top Flite FW-190 wing without the Modifications.
Robart really screwed the pooch with a crappy design. To lazy to do it the right way.
Just my opinion of course. ( And maybe a few others. )

The TopRC tail retract is way off scale. It does not retract near far enough up the fuselage. On top of that, it needs mods (yet pretty easy fix) to retract it, due to poor geometri on the wires, as someone else have writen about.
My concern is still the mains though. Still no answer from BIGPLANES.NL😤. Aftersales seems to be a problem.

fw-190 cockpit
The one that comes with the plane is nice but not scale like and not the correct interior colors.
Would be interested in seeing how you do it if you decide to change yours out.

Has any one tried the Robart Retracts? I ordered my FW190 with the TopRCModels retracts and was very disappointed. Last year I got the Zero with the factory electric retracts and could not be happier with their performance. After checking out the FW 190 retracts I found a bad air leak in both of the retract air cylinders. The machine work was the problem. Mike at Caiman (Gator) has said he will replace them with a set of Roberts. I would like to support him as I want him to be successful and keep more TopRC Models coming. I am sure the Roberts won’t be as scale as Sierra retracts but will they work?

Getting started on the Sierra tail gear. Don't know if this is the best way but it's what I'm doing.
Have to move the fuselage bulkhead about 3/4 of an inch forward. The rib in the fin that the air cylinder mounts to needs to
be move further down by about 3/4 of an inch. Should be able to make further progress on Sunday.
I've cut out a hatch to allow easy access.

Getting access to the cockpit may be a bit tough; taking out the old one may be easy but putting a new one will have to be done through the gun access hatch area.
