Steven,
Nothing in your location line so I was a bit curious, Lovely place if the WX isn't sweltering or Monsoons. I was there multiple times in my past lives.
I always wanted to swim in the mirror pools on top of the hotel you see in all the glamor shots of the city. Raffles was great and so many other wonderful memories. One of the best Tex-Mex meals I ever had was there.

Great Flight Tom.
Any data you can provide:
All up weight?
Prop?
RPMs at full throttle?
Temps?
Baffles or Fan?

Thanks,

jim

hello Jim. The plane has a saito fg90 with a two blade fiala 24x12. 6600 rpm at the ground. I have baffle.
The weight 16.4 kg (cg 172 mm). But the servo are not in the tail. I put it in the fuse. The command beetween servo and tail are steel wire of 3mm.

I change the rear wheel and the wire off the wheel and rudder 0.8 or 0.9 mm. The wire off the kit were too small.

No overheat issue with this size of the hole with standard exhaust pipe.

Great flight!
I also am going to maiden my FW-190 soon.
The only worrie is that our flight stroke is very short.
Do you have any idea how many meters you need to run out the plane until stop?

[QUOTE=Carlo Vangompel;12695206]Super vol !
Je vais également inaugurer mon FW-190 bientôt.
Le seul souci est que notre course de vol est très courte.
Avez-vous une idée du nombre de mètres dont vous avez besoin pour parcourir l'avion jusqu'à l'arrêt ?

Carlo[/CITATION]

Hello Carlo,
for the take off no worries, full gaz it's go in the air very soon. for the landing, i use full flap (compensation 10% down). you can come very gently. i think my landing was about 100/150 meter

maybe another land shorter/slower than me. at the end off the video you can see that the plane wanted to go up when i touched the depht. make a test of dropout in the air for see the limit speed.

I already noticed your landing speed was a little high.
I sure will make a test of drop out in the air to check lowest landing speed.
Thanks for your advice!

Haven't started mine yet, engine was in the US to be modified by the guru and is due to leave back to me this week. Still collecting bits for it.
Need a tail wheel and can't get a scale one so far.
Rev is going to do me a fan but not sure when he has time to do it?

I have the german warbirds pilot 12" but looks too small so will get larger one and see which looks best. Cockpit kit to be bought.

I have the sierra mains, tail retract and sierra scale 6" wheels. Got the baffles & collector ring from MMM.

Is anyone else having problems getting hold of Sierra for their Fw190 retracts.
I have tried contacting Darrel on the website and also Legend hobby but so far my emails are being ingnored (makes me a bit
uncomfortable sending money in light of this).
Its a bit frustrating i live in Australia so i have no other option .

How did you get on ordering yours ??

As of Tuesday I think we ordered the last retract set he had on the shelf. He says he’s making more and keeps a few sets on hand. Don’t give up trying to call him.

Well the set we have has an issue. It doesn’t fully retract the strut up in the wing and it can’t be adjusted. It’s a mechanical design problem. We ordered the Sierra set because they’re just a superior gear set. If you increase the air volume air retracts are very reliable and I trust these will be no different.

Royu you definitely want to get the Sierra retracts. They will save you a lot of headaches as well as your model
