Thank you, I vacuumed formed my own canopy and we could not source the correct spinier so we used a 4 inch one off a P51 what a wonderful plane to fly, I ended up with 17 oz of wing loading and its flies like a big trainer, it has a 220 Saito F/S with a 16/8 prop Mike

This is the fun scale Spit, no flaps or retracts and I so build light, its covered in Solartex and air brushed with Behr latex house paint

Actually our flying site is a bit deceiving, it a farmers field and we are allowed to mow a strip. its only 100 feet long and 30 feet wide with a power line over it so as the crops grow we have FUN LOL a lot of the guys have gone to the dark side and flying foamy E stuff so take off and landings are not a problem I am 84 and still building and flying with nitro on 72 meg Mike
